Lengthening
patterns at the
same stitch density
The
pattern
length in
the decorative-stitch pro
grams 40 to 48 and 50 can be varied, while the
stitch density remains the same. The pattern can
be varied in length from 2.0 to 90mm. When a pat
tern is sewn with short stitches, its maximum
length is limited
(Fig.
1).
Indicated below are the maximum and minimum
pattern
lengths for various stitch lengths.

Before entering
a
program,
you can
vary
the pat
tern length by pressing key 124.
Example:
• Select
program 44
• Set pattern length 25 (with key 124)
• Press key mem+ (106).
The pattern is now
stored with the
modified
data
(Fig. 3).
Pattern mirroring
If
you
want
to
sew
a
pattern mirror-inverted
(Fig.
2),
select the
respective
program, and press
• “pattern mirroring” key 122 and
• themem+keylO6.
The pattern mirroring function is indicated
by
the
vertical dash symbol appearing after the program
number
in the display
(Fig. 4).
