Darning
Remove
the
sewing
foot
and
the
bed
slide.
Lift
front
end
of
needle
plate
and
tilt
out.
Turn
needle
plate
half
a
turn
so
that
raised
portion
is
at
the
front
(see
illustration)
and
replace.
Press
down
stud
and
replace
bed
slide.
Thread
the
needle
with
darning
wool
and
lower
presser
bar
lifter.
