to
sew
a
uni
form
hem.
Clip
off
the
corner
of
the
fabric
to facilitate
insertion
into
the
hemmer
foot.
Feed
fabric
so
that
the
row
edge
is
in
line
with
the
left
edge
of
the
hemmer
foot
opening.
Avoid
ugly
ends
by
slowing
down
feed
ing. To
do
this,
press
the fabric
against
the
needle
plate
on
the
left
side
of
the
foot
before
you
come
to
the
end
of
the
hem.
