Owing

used for
sewing
elastic,
eg.
on
underwear
—
Cut
off
the
old
elastic
close
to
the
edge.
—
Gather
the
fabr

Push
the
part
prepared
in
this
way
between
the
elastic
tape,
or
place
it
underneath,
and
pin
it
firmly
in
place.

Sew
it on
with
elastic
stitch
Leave
the
ends

little
and
sew
over
them
with
elastic
stitches.

On skirts

tape
is
sewn
onto
the
prepared
edge
with
