Servicing
and
maintenance
intervals
These
maintenance
intervals
are
calculated
for
the
average
running
time
of
a
single
shift
operation.
If
the
machine
is
operated
more
than
this,
shorter
intervals
are
recommended.

the
machine

Clean
the
hook
compartment
daily
with
a
brush,
more
often
if
in
continuous
operation
•
Thoroughly
clean
the
hook
once
a
week.
•
Open
the
bed
slide.
•
Bring
the
needle
bar
to
its
highest
position.
•
Remove
the
bobbin
case
cap
and
the
bobbin.
•
Unscrew
hook
gib
1.
•
Turn
the
handwheel
until
point

penetrates
into
groove

approx.
5
mm.
•
In
this
position,
remove
bobbin
case

Clean
the
hook
race
with
paraffin.
•
When
inserting
the
bobbin
case,
ensure
that
horn

meshes
in
the
groove
of
the
needle
plate
(see
arrow).

Finally,
screw
hook
gib

back
on.

Insert
the
bobbin
case
and
close
the
bed
slide.
Check
the
air
pressure
daily
before
use
Clean
the
hook
compartment
daily,
more
often
if
in
continuous
operation
Check
the
water
container
of
the
air
filter
daily
before
use
General
lubrication

week
Lubricate
the
front
parts
twice
a
week
Check
the
hook
oil-container
once
a
week
Clean
the
hook
