Congratulations on your new PetSafe® Pet Fountain! Before using, please take the
following steps to ensure your fountain is functioning properly.
• As with any new electrical appliance, check the power cord prior to use for any
cuts, tears,
or other potential damage.
• Please read
the fountain's Instruction Manual entirely prior to use.
• Place
the fountain on a protective mat or other durable, water resistant surface to
test the fountain. Fill the fountain with water and plug into electricity. Monitor your
fountain periodically for the first 12-hours to make sure it is running properly.
•
Other than minor water spills or splashes caused by the owner or pet, there should
be no signs of water on the mat or floor. If you notice excess water around the
fountain, beyond spills and splashes, discontinue use immediately and call our
Customer Care Center at 1-800-732-2677 for further assistance.
•
Be sure to monitor your fountain on a regular basis to ensure proper function.
