Determine the desired location and size for

pet-free zone. Hold the Zone so that the

name is right side up. Press the arrow-

shaped button that points upward. A seg-

mented line will appear in the window.

Each segment represents approximately

two feet of diameter. The arrow-shaped

button pointing downward will reduce the

diameter of the pet-free zone. Once range

is set, place Zone in desired area.

Thread the collar

strap through the

channels on the

receiver. With the

collar still turned off, place on dog and adjust to fit. For proper fit, the collar should

be snug, yet loose enough to allow one finger to fit between the strap and dog’s

neck. Fit is important because a loose collar may cause inconsistent performance.

It’s okay to trim any excess strap length. After you are satisfied with the fit, you can

now turn the collar on for first use. Move your dog to an area away from the pet-

free zone before turning the collar on.

Install three AA alkaline batteries in the

Zone.
