Step 1 Install Transmitter Batteries and Charge Receiver

Plug the AC Adapter into a
110VAC outlet.

Connect the AC Adapter to the
Receiver Cradle.

Put the Receiver on the Receiver
Cradle as shown. The light on the
Receiver glows red while
charging, and glows green when
fully charged.

Install Transmitter Batteries:
• Remove the battery cover from
the back of the Transmitter.
• Insert 3 AAA alkaline batteries
(oriented as shown in battery
compartment).
• Replace the battery cover.
• When the batteries are put in, the
Scout Transmitter is in battery
conservation mode; press any
button to activate the transmitter.

keep the Transmitter antenna
away from all magnets (there is a
magnet in the Charging Cradle).
