SAFETY AND RECYCLING Intended Usage The SmartFeeder was designed to be used by persons 8 years of age or older, assuming they have read and properly understood the instructions contained in this User’s Guide. SmartFeeder is suitable for cats and dogs weighing less than 50 lbs. Cleaning and Maintenance The SmartFeeder is not a toy and must be treated as an appliance at all times, especially when cleaning or conducting maintenance.

MEET YOUR SMARTFEEDER The Petnet SmartFeeder is more than an automated pet food dispenser - it’s your guide to optimal pet health. Since every pet is different, the SmartFeeder creates customized feedings tailored to your pet’s age, weight and activity level. In addition to recommending ideal food recipes and portion sizes, the SmartFeeder also monitors daily calorie intake and prevents overfeeding.

SETUP AND INSTALLATION The setup and installation of SmartFeeder takes just a few minutes. To get started, you’ll need the following four items: Bowl Smartphone Food Wi-Fi SmartFeeder setup takes 5 - 7 minutes. 1 Download the Petnet App 2 Create your user proﬁle 3 Connect SmartFeeder to Wi-Fi NOTE: SmartFeeder works with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz). 1. Download Petnet App To conﬁgure your SmartFeeder, you’ll need to download the Petnet App. Available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. 2. Create your Petnet account, register your pet and food Follow the directions on the Petnet App to create your user account, add your pet’s proﬁle and register your food. Email address Password Log In 3. Power on the bowl 4. Connect bowl with your phone The power switch is located on the rear right side of the bowl.

5. Connect SmartFeeder to Wi-Fi Ensure the front right LED is blinking. If it is not, repeat step 3. Use the app to choose your Wi-Fi network and enter your Wi-Fi password. Remove the connect sticker from the bowl then press the connect button on the app. Once the countdown begins, place your phone face down on top of the connect sensor that is located on the left edge of the bowl.

7. Add food to hopper Pour food into the hopper and ﬁll it, leaving a 1 inch clearance at the top. Top 1” 8. Congratulations! You’re all set up. Use the Petnet App to set up feeding times and portions sizes.

QUICK OVERVIEW REQUIREMENTS A smartphone, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz) and a Petnet account are required for setup, wireless mobile notiﬁcations and software updates.

RECOMMENDED PLACEMENT Place your SmartFeeder on a ﬂat surface anywhere in your home. If you have multiple pets, we recommend you place each SmartFeeder in a separate room to avoid conﬂict during feedings. We do not recommend using SmartFeeder outdoors. NOTE: For ideal performance, place your SmartFeeder away from direct sunlight and areas of high moisture.

CLEANING YOUR SMARTFEEDER It is important to note that the only two parts that are dishwasher safe are the stainless steel bowl insert and food hopper. All other parts can be cleaned with a warm damp towel. DISHWASHER SAFE Only the Stainless Steel Bowl Insert and Food Hopper are dishwasher safe. HAND WASH FEEDER BASE You can use a moist towel or sponge to wipe food oil and residue from the feeder portion wheel and housing.
