Lubricant Capacities
The oil capacities listed here reflect the
approximate total amount required to
maintain transmission lubrication in the
operating range for the stated vehicle and
hood configuration. The oil capacity listed
on the transmission label plate is the
amount needed to fill the transmission only
and does not include the additional amount
needed for hosing and/or an oil cooler.

Lubricant Specifications
PACCAR approves the use of ZF-Ecofluid
Life Plus synthetic transmission fluid for
the TX-8 transmission.

NOTE
The maintenance intervals contained
in this manual assume the use of ZF-
Ecofluid Life Plus. Use of another lu-
bricant invalidates the extended oil
change intervals presented.
