3. To eject moisture from the air system
tanks, pull the line that is connected
to the moisture ejection valve.
4. Continue pulling until the air comes
out free of water.
Diesel Exhaust Fluid
Daily and refueling maintenance check of
diesel exhaust fluid (DEF).
This procedure should be followed as part
of daily and refueling maintenance checks.
1. Check level of diesel exhaust fluid.
NOTE
It is recommended to top up DEF
when refueling. See Engine Af-
tertreatment Systems Operator’s
Manual for DEF information.
