STEP 2 – INSTALL DOWNLOADED SOFTWARE TO THE ENGINE
Trucks with a status of “Ready to Install” have had the software downloaded to the truck. It is now time to install
this update to the engine.
What do I need?
•
Truck that is in “Ready to Install” status
•
PACCAR OTA App on device with a charge level of > 20%
•
One person in the truck with PACCAR OTA App, with visibility to chassis

2. Select a VIN to update from the “Ready To Install” truck list or enter the VIN in
the search bar or QR code reader. If using the QR code, scan the QR sticker
 ontherearofthedriver’sdoorjamb,thenconrmthecorrectchassisonthe
app screen.
1. Sign in to the PACCAR OTA
app with your PACCAR Solutions
login credentials.
3. Select “Let’s Get Started”.

4. Follow the screen prompts:
•
Turn the ignition key to the ON position.
Do not start the engine.
•
Press and hold the Cruise Control “SET”
switch for 5 seconds when prompted.
•
Preconditionswillbeveried:

Key is in ON position; Engine is OFF

Truck Battery is at least 12V
-
Park Brake Set
-
Phone Battery Level
•
Oncepreconditionsareveried,click“StartInstallation”.
