U-bolts

U-bolts (ON HIGHWAY) Check the general condition and the

tightness of the nuts. Tighten the nuts to

the specified torque value as required;

see Suspension U-Bolts, Grade 8 on

page 276.

U-bolts (VOCATIONAL) Check the general condition and the

tightness of the nuts. Tighten the U-bolts

after the first day or two of operation.

Then tighten the nuts to the specified

torque value as required; see
