metricspeedometer.Themaximum
distancethatcanbeshownonthe
odometeris"1999999"beforeitrolls
overtozero.
Thetripodometerdisplayshowfar
thevehiclehasgoneonaparticular
trip.Thetripodometerwilldisplayin
milesonanEnglishspeedometerorin
kilometersonametricspeedometer,
inonetenthdivisions.Themaximum
distancethatcanbeshownonthetrip
odometeris"9999.9"beforeitrolls
overtozero.
Toresetthetripodometer,press
andholdthetripresetbuttonon
thespeedometer.Thenumberswill
resetto0andbegintocountnew
miles/kmtraveled.Thisalsoresetsthe
tripvaluesintheDriverInformation
Display.
Thetripresetbuttonalsotogglesall
displaysbetweenEnglishandMetric.
NOTE
TheOdometer/TripMetercomes
onwhenthedoorisopenedorthe
keyisintheaccessoryorignition
position.TheOdometer/TripMeter
willremainonfor3secondsafter
thedoorisclosedortheignition
switchisturnedoff.Thisallows
driverandservicepersonneltoread
theodometerwithoutignitionswitch
beingturnedon.
Tachometer
Yourtachometermeasurestheengine
speedinrevolutions-per-minute
(RPM).Thetachometeralsoincludes
anenginehourmeterandoutsideair
temperaturedisplay.
Watchingyourtachometerisimportant
todrivingefîš¿ciently.Itwillletyou
matchdrivingspeedandgearselection
totheoperatingrangeofyourengine.
Ifyourenginespeedgetstoohigh,
youcanselectahighergeartolower
theRPM.Ifyourenginespeeddrops
