sonalinjury,equipmentorproperty
damage.
•Listentothecompressoranddrive
clutchfornoiseandvibration.
Ifyoundproblems,havethe
systemcheckedthoroughly.A
malfunctioningclutchusually
indicatestroubleelsewhereinthe
system.
•Checktheevaporatorcore,lter,
andcondensercorefordebris
restrictingairow.Cleanif
necessary.Smallparticlesmay
beremovedwithcompressed
airblownthroughthecoreinthe
oppositedirectionofnormalair
ow.

clesblownbycompressedaircould
injureyoureyes.
•Checktheenginebeltforcondition
andpropertension.
•Checkallhosesforkinks,
deterioration,chang,andleaks.
Adjustkinkedorchanghosesto
eliminaterestrictionsandprevent
furtherwear.
•Checkallcomponentsand
connectionsforrefrigerantleaks.
Ifyoudiscoveraleak,donottryto
tightenaconnection.Tightening
aconnectionmaycausealeak
toworsen.Haveaqualied
techniciancorrecttheproblem.
NOTE
Aleakingevaporatororcondenser
corecannotberepaired;itmustbe
replaced.
Havetheairconditioningsystemfully
servicedannuallybyyourauthorized
dealer.Qualiedservicetechnicians
willhavetoevacuateandrechargethe
system.
