anyfanblade-to-radiatorsidemember.
Minimumclearanceis3/4in.(19mm).
Rearedgeofanyblademustbe
nocloserthan3/8in.(9mm)to
thenearestenginecomponent.If
thiscannotbeobtained,thefan
spacerorfanisnotcorrect.
Theleadingedgeofanyfanblade
mustbe1in.(25mm)fromthe
insideedgeoftheshroud.
AirIntakeSystem
Engineheat,vibration,andage
combinetoloosenairintake
connectionsandcausecracksin
thetubingandelbows.Leaksinthe
intakesystemallowabrasivedustto
entertheengineandquicklycause
expensivedamage.Duringyourdaily
walk-aroundinspection,carefully
checkalltubing,elbows,clamps,
supportsandfastenersforcondition
andtightness.
ChecktheCharge-Air-Coolerfor
airleaksannually.Theairleaks
canbecausedbycrackedtubes
orheader.Forserviceseeyour
authorizeddealer.
CAUTION
Donotuseairintakepipesandcon-
nectionsasasteportopullyour-
selfup.Thiscouldloosenthecon-
nectionsandopenthesystemtoun-
lteredairwhichcoulddamagethe
engine.
