cab.Ensureallventtubes,ashar-
restorsandgrommetsareproperly
installedandensuretheyareclear
andfunctioningproperly.Failureto
reinstallorkeeptheventtubesand
grommetsclearorensuretheash
arrestor(s)arefunctioningproperly
couldresultinpersonalinjuryor
equipmentdamage.Failuretocom-
plymayresultindeath,personal
injury,equipmentorpropertydam-
age.
CAUTION
Donotstoreotheritemsinthisbat-
terybox.Failuretocomplycouldre-
sultindamagetothetruckand/or
batteries.
CAUTION
Properlysecurebatterytiedowns
andbatteryboxcoverwhenrein-
stallingbatteriesafterservice.Do
notovertighten.Overtightening
cancrackthebatterycasewhichcan
leadtoequipmentdamage.
RemovingandInstallingBatteries:
1.Besureallswitchesonthevehicle
areturnedOFF.
2.Disconnectnegativegroundcable
rst.
3.Disconnectpositivecable.
4.Unscrewboltofholdingplatewith
openendwrench.
NOTE
Alwaysdisposeofautomotivebat-
teriesinasafeandresponsibleman-
ner.Contactyourauthorizeddealer
fordisposalstandards.Callyourlo-
calauthorizedrecyclingcenterfor
informationonrecyclingautomotive
batteries.
