Belowaresomegeneralinstructions
onhowtoadjustandcalibratetheair
controlvalvefortheauxiliaryaxlesto
obtaintheproperloaddistributionof
theaxle(s).Foradditionaloperating
andmaintenanceinstructions,seethe
pusherortagsuspensionmanufacturer
literatureinthegloveboxorcontact
themdirectly.
NOTE
Thisproceduremustbeperformed
priortoplacingthevehicleintoser-
vice.
SettingthePressure-to-LoadRatio
Toobtainthedesiredaxleload
distribution,youmustcorrelatethe
suspensionairgaugepressuretothe
actualaxleloadbyscalingtheaxle
weight(s)andadjustingthepressure
toobtainthedesiredload.Oncethe
desiredloadorloadrangeisachieved,
documentthepressure-to-loadratioor
settingforfutureuse.
