GAWRandtheloadthatisbeing

Thevehiclewillhaveswitchesonthe
dashtocontrolthepositionofthe
auxiliaryaxles.Incertainsituations,
however,thesystemwilloverridethe
controlstoprotecttheaxlesystem.
Anyliftableandsteerableauxiliary
axleswillriseoffofthegroundwhen
theparkingbrakesareengagedor
whenthevehicleisputinreverse.
Iftheliftableauxiliaryaxleisnota
steerableaxle,thenitwillremaininthe
downpositionwhenactivatedbythe
dashmountedswitch.
Operatingtheauxiliaryliftableaxles
mustbeperformedinamannerthat
doesnotexceedtheaxlecreeprating.
Axlecreepratingsareweightand
speedlimitsthatareallowedwhile
thevehicleisfullyloaded(inexcess
ofthevehicle’sstandardGAWR)and
theaxleisinitsupposition.Axle
creepratingsareassignedbythe
axlemanufacturerandarebasedon
axlemodelandintendedserviceof
thevehicle.Contactanauthorized
dealershipifyouareunabletoidentify
theaxlecreepratingofthisvehicle.
