no"park"position.Soyouwillneedto
applytheparkingbrakebeforeleaving
thecab.
HillHold
Thehillholdfeatureisavailableas
anoptionwithcertainautomated
transmissions.Thisfeatureholdsthe
vehiclewhileonahilltoallowthe
operatortoreleasetheservicebrakes
andpresstheaccelerator.Thisfeature
willholdthevehicleifthevehicleis
attemptingtogoupahillfromastopin
eitherdriveorreverse.
WARNING!
Donotleavethecabofyourvehicle
withoutapplyingtheparkingbrake.
Thetruckcouldrollandcausean
accidentresultingindeathorper-
sonalinjury.Alwaysapplythepark-
ingbrakebeforeyouleavethecab.

Ifyourvehiclehasanautomated
transmission,beawarethatitcan
rollbackwardswhenstoppedona
hillorgrade,orwhenstartingfrom
astoponahillorgrade.Failureto
