byfog,condensation,orfrostonthe
windshield.Yourviewmaybeob-
scured,whichmayresultindeath,
personalinjury,equipmentorprop-
ertydamage.Forclearvisibilityand
safedrivingitisextremelyimpor-
tantforyoutofollowtheinstructions
pertainingtothefunctionanduse
oftheventilation/heatinganddefog-
ging/defrostingsystem.Ifindoubt,
consultyourdealer.Maximumheat-
ingoutputandfastdefrostingcanbe
obtainedonlyaftertheenginehas
reachedoperatingtemperature.
WARNING!
Exhaustfumesfromtheenginecon-
taincarbonmonoxide,acolorless
andodorlessgas.Donotbreathe
theengineexhaustgas.Apoorly
maintained,damagedorcorroded
exhaustsystemcanallowcarbon
monoxidetoenterthecab.Entryof
carbonmonoxideintothecabisalso
possiblefromothervehiclesnearby.
Failuretoproperlymaintainyourve-
hiclecouldcausecarbonmonoxide
toenterthecab,resultingindeathor
personalinjury.

Neveridleyourvehicleforprolonged
periodsoftimeifyousensethatex-
haustfumesareenteringthecab.
Investigatethecauseofthefumes
andcorrectitassoonaspossible.
Ifthevehiclemustbedrivenunder
theseconditions,driveonlywiththe
windowsopen.Failuretorepairthe
sourceoftheexhaustfumesmayre-
sultindeath,personalinjury,equip-
mentorpropertydamage.
