PACCARResponsibilities
Thewarrantycoveragebeginswhen
thevehicleisdeliveredtotherst
purchaserorrstlessee.Repairs
andservicewillbeperformedbyany
authorizedPACCARdealerusing
neworgenuineapprovedrebuiltparts
andassembliesPACCARwillutilize
replacementpartsthatareselected
andinstalledtosupporttheGHG
compliancecertication.PACCAR
willrepairpartsfoundbyPACCARto
bedefectivewithoutchargeforparts
orlabor(includingdiagnosiswhich
resultsindeterminationthattherehas
beenafailureofawarrantedpart).
WarrantyLimitations
Soleandexclusiveremedyagainst
PACCARandtheSellingDealer
arisingfromthepurchaseanduse
ofthisvehicleislimitedtotherepair
orreplacementof“warrantable
failures”,forreplacementpartsthat
aresimilarinmaterialandfunction
toOEMspecicationsandsubjectto
PACCAR’stime,mileage,andhour
limitationsofthegreenhousegas
warranty.Themaximumtime,mileage
andhourlimitationsofthewarranty
beginwiththeDateofDeliverytothe
rstpurchaserorrstlessee.The
accruedtime,mileage,orhoursis
calculatedwhenthevehicleisbrought
inforcorrectionofwarrantablefailures.
PACCARisnotresponsiblefor
failuresordamageresultingfromwhat
PACCARdeterminestobeabuse,
neglectoruncontrollableactsofnature,
including,butnotlimitedto:damage
duetoaccident;operationwithout
adequatecoolantsorlubricants;
overfueling;overspeeding;lackof
maintenanceofcooling,lubricating
orintakesystems;improperstorage,
starting,warm-up,run-inorshutdown
practices;unauthorizedmodications
tothevehicleanditscomponents.
PACCARisalsonotresponsiblefor
failurescausedbyincorrectoil,fuel
ordieselexhaustuidorbywater,
dirtorothercontaminantsinthefuel,
oilordieselexhaustuid.Failure
ofreplacementpartsusedinrepairs
duetotheabovenon-warrantable
conditionsisnotwarrantable.
Thiswarrantyisvoidifthevehicleis
alteredwithpartsthatdonotmeetthe
materialandfunctionalspecications
asmanufacturedfromthefactory.
Anyalterationstovehicleorengine
computersettingswillvoidGHG
warrantyandpotentiallycausethe
vehicletobecomenon-compliant
withtheGHGregulationoftheEPA
CleanAirAct.Anyalterationsto
