Warning Indicators on Master
Display
General
These icons are used as warning
indicators on the instrument panel and as
part of master display screens.
The warning indicators on the instrument
panel have a fixed color. See section
Warning Indicators on Instrument Panel on
page 66 .
If an icon is displayed as part of a master
display screen its color is defined by the
background color of the screen. See
section Layout of Master Display on page
49 .
Master Display
Warning Indicator Description
Park brake not applied
If the driver’s door is opened while the engine has been switched
off and the park brake has not been applied, an acoustic signal is
given and a warning symbol is shown on the master display.
NOTE
On the master display this warning can be changed from red
to yellow by a service dealer. The indicator on the instrument
panel remains red.
