NHTSA Consumer Information
The National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration requires that the following
information be included in the owner’s
manual of motor vehicles manufactured
after September 1, 1990:
If you believe that your vehicle has a defect
which could cause a crash or could cause
injury or death, you should immediately
inform the National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration (NHTSA) in addition to
notifying KW/PB Motors Company.
If NHTSA receives similar complaints, it
may open an investigation, and if it finds
that a safety defect exists in a group of
vehicles, it may order a recall and remedy
campaign. However, NHTSA cannot get
involved in individual problems between
you, your dealer, and KW/PB Motors
Company.

WARNING
Diesel engine exhaust and some of its
constituents are known to the State of
California to cause cancer, birth de-
fects, and other reproductive harm.
Other chemicals in this vehicle are al-
so known to the State of California to
cause cancer, birth defects or other re-
productive harm. This warning require-
ment is mandated by California law
(Proposition 65) and does not result
from any change in the manner in
which KW/PB trucks are manufac-
tured.
