maximum:30lb-ft).
Thespringbrakeis
nowmechanically
released.
Sand,Mud,SnowandIce
Ifthevehiclegetsstuckinsand,
mud,snow,orice:
Movethegearshiftleveror
selectorfromFirsttoReverse.
Applylightpressureonthe
acceleratorpedalwhilethe
transmissionisingear.
Removeyourfootfromthe
acceleratorwhileshifting.
Donotracetheengine.
Forbesttractionandsafety,avoid
spinningthewheels.
WARNING!
Donotspinthewheelsfasterthan
35mph(55km/h).Spinningatireat
speedometerreadingsfasterthan
35mph(55km/h)canbedangerous.
Tirescanexplodefromspinningtoo
fast.Undersomeconditions,atire
maybespinningataspeedtwice
thatshownonthespeedometer.
Anyresultingtireexplosioncould
causedeathorpersonalinjurytoa
bystanderorpassenger,aswellas
extensivevehicledamage:includ-
ingtire,transmissionand/orrear
axlemalfunction.
