SafeVehicleOperation

•Donotdriveifyouaretired,ill,or
underemotionalstress.
Safedrivingisonlypossiblewiththe
properconcentrationonthedriving
task.Keepdistractiontoaminimumto
improveyourconcentration.Examples
ofdistractionsmayincluderadio
controls,GPSnavigationcontrols,
cellulartelephonecalls,cellulartext
messages,readingorreachingfor
somethingontheoor.Minimizing
yourdistractionswillimprovesafe
drivingandwillhelpavoidanaccident
involvingdeathorpersonalinjury.
Beawareoflocalregulationsthatmay
prohibittheuseofcellulartelephones
whiledriving.Inadditiontobeingan
unsafepractice,itmaybeagainstlocal
orfederalordinancestousecellular
deviceswhileoperatingthevehicle.
