weight(mass)ofthevehicleora
deviationbetweenexpectedand
actualyawrates,
•Gustywindsarestrongenough
tocausesignicantsideforces
onthevehicleandanytowed
vehicles.
ToMaximizeTheEffectivenessOf
ESC
•Loadsmustbeproperlysecured
andevenlydistributedatalltimes.
•Driversneedtoexerciseextreme
cautionatalltimes,andavoid
sharpturns,suddensteering
inputsorabruptlanechangesat
highspeeds,particularlyif:
a.thevehiclehaulsloadsthat
couldshift,
b.thevehicleorloadhasahigh
oroff-setcenterofgravity
(CG)whenloaded,or
c.thevehicletowsdoublesor
triples.
TruckChassisModications
TheESCsystemwasspecically
calibratedandvalidatedonlyfor
yourvehicle’soriginalfactory-built
conguration.Ifyourvehicle’schassis
componentsarealtered(forexample,
awheelbaseextensionorreduction,
tagaxleadditionorremoval,tractorto
truckconversionorsteeringsystem
componentchange)theESCsystem
mustbedisabledimmediatelybya
qualiedmechanic.
