recommendedthatthevehiclesex-
haustsystemandcabbeinspected:
•Byacompetenttechnicianevery
15,000miles
•Wheneverachangeisnoticedin
thesoundoftheexhaustsystem
•Whenevertheexhaustsystem,
underbody,orcabisdamaged
NOTE
Toallowforproperoperationofthe
vehicleventilationsystem,keepthe
inletgrilleatthebaseofthewind-
shieldclearofsnow,ice,leavesand
otherobstructionsatalltimes.
CAUTION
Donotstayinthevehiclewiththe
enginerunningoridlingformore
than10minuteswiththevehicle's
HeaterandA/Cventilationsystem
inRECIRCoratLOWFANSPEED.
Evenwiththeventilationsystemon,
runningtheenginewhileparkedor
stoppedforprolongedperiodsof
timeisnotrecommended.

Whenidlingforshortperiodsoftime:
•Settheheatingorcooling
systemtoHeatorA/C
•SetthefantoMediumorHigh
speed
•SetthecontrolstoFRESHAIR

anauxiliaryheaterorautomaticidle
control.Theseauxiliarydevicescan
reducefuelconsumptionandsave
youmoney.
