TheLCDdisplayinthelowerpartofthe
tachometercontainstheenginehour
meterandtheoutsideairtemperature
display.
Theenginehourmeterwilldisplay
thetotalnumberofhourstheengine
hasbeenrunning.Themaximum
hoursthatcanbeshownare“99999.9”
beforethemeterrollsovertozero.
Theoutsideairtemperature(OAT)
willdisplaythetemperatureoutside
thevehicle.Thetemperaturecan
bedisplayedfrom-40°to158°in
Fahrenheitor-40°to70°Celsius.The
displaywillalsoalertthedriverwhen
theoutsidetemperateapproaches
freezing(32°For0°C)bydisplaying
asnowakesymbol.Thesymbolwill
turnonwhenthetemperaturedrops
below34°For11°Candashforthe
rst3seconds,thenstayonuntilthe
temperaturegoesabove37°For28°C
Thetemperaturecandisplayusing
StandardorMetricunits.Pressthe
tripresetbuttonontheSpeedometer4
timeswithin4seconds.Thiswillalso
changetheunitsshownbytheDriver
InformationDisplay.
NOTE
TheOATwillcomeonwhenthedoor
isopenandthekeyswitchisinthe
accessoryorignitionposition.The
OATdisplaywillturnoffwhenthe
ignitionswitchisturnedoff.
NOTE
TheOATusesasensor(locatedat
thebottomofthedriver’ssidemir-
rorassembly)tomeasureoutsideair
temperatureonly.Itisnotcapable
ofdisplayingthetemperatureofthe
roadsurfaceoneitherthetempera-
turedisplayorthesnowakeicon.
NOTE
Theeffectsofdirectsunlight,orthe
useofmirrorheat,willincreasethe
outsideairtemperaturedisplayed
whilethevehicleisstationary.
