Thewarninglightsandaudiblealarm
mayindicateasystemmalfunction.
Checkthelightsfrequently,and
respondproperlyassoonasyousee
onegoon.Theselightscouldsave
youfromaseriousaccident.
Whenmultiplewarningiconsare
shownontheinstrumentcluster,
theywillappearatrstandthen
minimize.Whenminimizedthey
willberepresentedintheactive
warningsareaofthedisplay(see
DriverPerformanceCenteronpage
3-30fordetails).Atrianglerepresents
awarningregisteredandadiamond
representsacheckmessage.
WARNING
Donotignoreawarninglightor
audiblealarm.Thesesignalstell
yousomethingiswrongwithyour
vehicle.Itcouldbeafailurein
animportantsystem,suchasthe
brakes,whichcouldleadtoan
accidentcausingdeathorinjury.
Havetheappropriatesystem
checkedimmediately.
Checkmessagesareprovidedtogive
theoperatoradditionalinformation
regardingsystemsthatrequire
attentionduetoasystemmalfunction
and/oroperatingconditionsthatmay
hindersafeandproperperformance
forthevehicle.Thesystemwillemit
achimetoalerttheoperatorthata
messageisappearingonthecluster.
Somemessagescanbemanagedby
theoperatorwhileothersmayrequire
anauthorizeddealerrepair.
