orcouldcausedeathorpersonal
injury,youshouldimmediatelyinform
theNationalHighwayTrafcSafety
Administration(NHTSA)inadditionto
notifyingthevehiclemanufacturer.
IfNHTSAreceivessimilarcomplaints,
itmayopenaninvestigation,and
ifitndsthatasafetydefectexists
inagroupofvehicles,itmayorder
arecallandremedycampaign.
However,NHTSAcannotgetinvolved
inindividualproblemsbetweenyou,
yourdealer,andvehiclemanufacturer.
