lterschangedatanauthorizeddealer.
CAUTION
Whenaddinguid,besuretouse
uidofthesametype.Whilemany
uidshavethesamedescription
andintendedpurpose,theyshould
notbemixedduetoincompatible
additives.Mixingincompatibleuids
mayleadtoequipmentdamage.
•Checkandcompletelychangethe
uidlevelaccordingtoPreventive
MaintenanceScheduleonpage
5-12.Usethefollowingprocedure:
NOTE
Beforeremovingreservoircover,
wipeoutsideofcoversothatnodirt
canfallintothereservoir.
•Maximum/Minimumlevelis
indicatedonthereservoir.These
samelevelsarealsoindicatedby
twolinesonthedipstickinthe
reservoir.
•Therearetwowaystocheck
whetherthepowersteeringuid
isatitsproperlevel.Bothchecks
arewiththeengineNOTrunning.
1.Ifyouchecktheuidwiththe
engineandsteeringsystem
COLD,theuidlevelshouldbe
at/orabovetheMinimumindicator
levelandshouldgenerallynot
exceedthemiddlepointbetween
MaximumandMinimumlevel
indicators.
2.Ifyouchecktheuidwiththe
engineandsteeringsystem
WARM,theuidshouldNOT
exceedtheMaximumlevel
indicatorandshouldgenerally
notdropbelowthemiddlepoint
