Useonlydieselfuelasrecommended
byenginemanufacturers.
WARNING
Amixtureofgasolineoralcoholwith
dieselfuelinthepresenceofan
ignitionsource(suchasacigarette)
couldcauseanexplosionresulting
indeathorpersonalinjury.Useonly
therecommendeddieselfuel.
CAUTION
Ifanyoneeverpoursgasolineinto
yourfueltank,draintheentire
system.Otherwise,thepumpand
enginewillbedamaged.Don’ttryto
dilutethegasolinebyaddingdiesel
fuel(SeeWarningabove).

Pleasefollowtheserecommendations
whenyouarechangingyourfuellters
orstrainerelements.Yourengine
willrunbetterandlastlongerifyou
do.Seetheenginemanufacturer’s
recommendationsforproperwaterand
micronrequirements.
•Whenremovinglters,coverany
electricalequipmentandwiring
thatmightgetsoakedwithfuel.
Dieselfuelmaypermanently
damageelectricalinsulation.
•Wheninstallingspin-on
(throwaway)lters,handtighten
themonlyto1/2to2/3turnafter
gasketcontact.Over-tightening
theseltersmaydistortorcrack
thelterhead.
