NOTE
Performthisprocedureatornear
aweightscale.Procedurecan
beperformedwhileparkedonthe
weightscaleifscaleisavailable.
1.Parkloadedvehicleonlevel
surfacewithwheelsblocked.
2.Releasevehiclesspring
brakes.(Donotreleasefor
Liftable/Non-Steerablepusheror
tagaxles).
3.Lowerthepusher/tagaxleswith
theaxleliftcontrolipvalve.(For
somenon-liftableaxles,inateair
suspension).
4.Adjusttheamountofloadon
eachaxlebyturningthepressure
regulatorclockwisetoincrease
theloadorcounterclockwise
todecreasetheload.(The
suspensionmanufacturer
maypublishpre-established
Pressure-to-LoadRatioPressure
Settingstoassistyouinachieving
anestimatedgroundload).
5.Aftersettingthepressuretoobtain
thedesiredaxleload,verifyproper
groundloadingwiththeweight
scale.

weightlimitsmayresultincitations.

Operationguidelines

Steerable-pusherand/ortagaxle(s)
willraisewhenthetransmissionis
shiftedintoreverseorwhenthe
