helpsrelievetheloadsontheelectrical
systemandcrankingmotor.Usingthe
specialcoldstartingequipmentwill
helpstarting.Ifyoufollowafewsimple
guidelines,youwillextendtheservice
lifeofyourengine.
Keeptheelectricalsystemintop
condition.
Usethebestqualityfuelofthe
recommendedgrade.
Userecommendedengine
lubricatingoil.
Fullydepresstheaccelerator
pedalafterengagingthestarter.
Formanualtransmissionsand
auxiliarytransmissions,leavethe
transmissioninneutralandallow
thetransmissionlubricatingoil
towarmup(approximately3-5
minutes)beforeoperatingvehicle.
EngineBlockHeater
(Option)
Topreheattheenginebeforestarting,
plugtheoptionalengineblockheater
intoaproperlygroundedACelectrical
source.Donotstarttheenginewith
theheaterpluggedin.
WARNING
Engineblockheaterscancause
reswhichmayresultindeath,
injuryand/orpropertydamage
ifnotproperlymaintainedand
operated.Regularlyinspectthe
engineblockheaterwiringand
connectorfordamagedorfrayed
wires.Donotusetheheaterif
thereareanysignsofproblems.
