WARNING
Exhaustfumesfromtheengine
containcarbonmonoxide,a
colorlessandodorlessgas.Donot
breathetheengineexhaustgas.
Apoorlymaintained,damagedor
corrodedexhaustsystemcanallow
carbonmonoxidetoenterthecab.
Entryofcarbonmonoxideintothe
cabisalsopossiblefromother
vehiclesnearby.Failuretoproperly
maintainyourvehiclecouldcause
carbonmonoxidetoenterthecab,
resultingindeathorpersonalinjury.
WARNING
Neveridleyourvehicleforprolonged
periodsoftimeifyousensethat
exhaustfumesareenteringthecab.
Investigatethecauseofthefumes
andcorrectitassoonaspossible.
Ifthevehiclemustbedrivenunder
theseconditions,driveonlywiththe
windowsopen.Failuretorepair
thesourceoftheexhaustfumes
mayresultindeath,personalinjury,
equipmentorpropertydamage.
NOTE
Keeptheengineexhaustsystem
andthevehiclescabventilation
systemproperlymaintained.Itis
recommendedthatthevehicles
exhaustsystemandcabbe
inspected:
•Byacompetenttechnicianevery
15,000miles
•Wheneverachangeisnoticedin
thesoundoftheexhaustsystem
•Whenevertheexhaustsystem,
underbody,orcabisdamaged
NOTE
Toallowforproperoperationofthe
vehicleventilationsystem,keep
theinletgrilleatthebaseofthe
windshieldclearofsnow,ice,leaves
andotherobstructionsatalltimes.
