Introduction
Yourvehicle'sairconditioningsystem
iscapableofcontrollingthecabin
airtemperatureautomaticallyorin
amanualoverridemodesothat
thedrivermaycustomizetheair
conditionerforspecicneeds(clearing
fogorthiniceonthewindshield).
WheninAutomaticmodetheair
conditioningsystemcanaidcold
vehiclestartupproceduresbyutilizing
thefreshair/recirculatedairoption
withoutoperatorinteraction.Insome
cases,thesystemwillusefreshairto
clearfogorthiniceonthewindshield
ortowarmupthecabin.Inother
situations,thesystemmayrecirculate
airtohelpcoolventilateahotcab.
Forvehicleswithasleeper,thefront
(cab)airconditionercontrolunitwill
alsohavethecapabilityforuserto
turnthesleepercontrolsonoroff.
Thecabautomaticairconditioner
unitiscapableofcontrollingcabinair
temperature,however,thesleeperair
conditionerwillonlyvarytheairsupply
temperaturerelativetothetemperature
intheairducts.
ThecabheaterandA/Ccontrolsare
locatedtogetherinthecenterofthe
dashjusttotherightofthesteering
column.
WARNING
Donotdrivewithvisibilityreduced
byfog,condensation,orfrost
onthewindshield.Yourview
maybeobscured,whichmay
resultindeath,personalinjury,
equipmentorpropertydamage.
Forclearvisibilityandsafedriving
itisextremelyimportantfor
youtofollowtheinstructions
pertainingtothefunctionand
useoftheventilation/heatingand
defogging/defrostingsystem.If
indoubt,consultyourdealer.
Maximumheatingoutputandfast
defrostingcanbeobtainedonlyafter
theenginehasreachedoperating
temperature.
