Powerwindowrockerswitchesare
locatedonthedoorpads.Depress
theswitchtoopenthewindoworpull
upontheswitchtoclosethewindow.
Releasetheswitchtostopwindow
movement.Thedriverssidewindow
hasanexpressdownfeature.Pushing
ontheswitchallthewaydownuntilthe
switchbumpswillactivatetheexpress
downfeature.Releasethebuttonand
thewindowwillcontinuetoopenuntilit
iscompletelyopen.
ExteriorLightsSelfTest
TostarttheExteriorLightSelf-T est
(ELST)feature:
1.Parkthevehicleandsetthe
parkingbrakes.
2.Insertthekeyintotheignition,start
theengineandallowthevehicle
torunthroughitsownPowerOn
SelfTest.
3.Pressthemomentaryswitchon
thedashtostarttheELST .
Thisfeatureallowstheoperatorto
verifyandinspectexteriorlighting
operationtypicallyperformedduringa
pre-tripinspection.Whenthefeature
isengaged,viaaswitchonthedash,it
willilluminatethe:
•Parklights
•Sidemarkerlights
•Hazard/turnsignals
•Lobeamheadlamps
•Firstsetoffog/drivinglights
Thetestwillturnthoselightsoffand
thenilluminatethe:
•Parklights
•Sidemarkerlights
•Hibeamheadlamps
•Stop/Brakelights
Afterturningtheselightsoff,the
systemwillresumetestingtherstset
oflights.Thelighttestwilleventually
stoponitsown.Theoperatormay
interruptthetestbyturningthevehicle
offorpressingtheswitchasecondtime
whilethetestisrunning.Theoperator
canverifythelightfunctionalityby
visiblywatchingthelightfromoutside
thevehicleduringthetestorcanread
theinstrumentclusterforanyfaults
displayedthatarelightingrelated.
