- when the engine speed drops below 1000 rpm.
- when the ABS/ASR system has established a tendency for the wheels to lock.
- when the accelerator pedal is depressed.
- when the vehicle speed control or engine speed control has been engaged.
If the ABS/ASR control is activated, the engine brake will be
switched off as long as the control is in operation. On vehicles
where the ABS/ASR control fails to function or on vehicles not
equipped with ABS/ASR, use of the engine brake may lead to the
risk of skidding on slippery surfaces.
STOPPING
Parking
- Move the parking brake lever (from position A) backwards past the locking cam
(position B). The parking brake is now engaged.
