Belt Damage and Repair
Damaged belts in the cab must be
replaced. Belts that have been stretched,
cut, or worn out may not protect you in an
accident.
If any seat belt is not working properly
, see
an Authorized Service Center for repair or
replacement.
For further information on seat belts and
seat belt maintenance, see Safety
Restraint System - Inspection on page 249.
Sleeper Bunks and Restraints
This vehicle comes equipped with a bunk
restraint for the primary lower bunk and the
optional upper bunk. These restraints
should be used whenever the bunks are
occupied by a person while the vehicle is in
motion. The sleeper bunk restraint is
intended to reduce the risk of being thrown
from the bunk in a crash. This device is not
designed to hold the occupant in a fixed
position on the bunk and may not prevent
all injuries in the event of a crash.
