WARNING
DO NOT drive with visibility reduced
by
fog, condensation, or frost on the
windshield. Your view may be ob-
scured, which may result in property
damage, personal injury, or death. For
clear visibility and safe driving it is ex-
tremely important for you to follow the
instructions pertaining to the function
and use of the ventilation/heating and
defogging/defrosting system. If in
doubt, consult your dealer. Maximum
heating output and fast defrosting can
be obtained only after the engine has
reached operating temperature.
WARNING
Exhaust fumes from the engine con-
tain
carbon monoxide, a colorless and
odorless gas. DO NOT breathe the en-
gine exhaust gas. A poorly maintained,
damaged, or corroded exhaust system
can allow carbon monoxide to enter
the cab. Entry of carbon monoxide into
the cab is also possible from other ve-
hicles nearby. Failure to properly main-
tain your vehicle could cause carbon
monoxide to enter the cab, resulting in
personal injury or death.
WARNING
Never idle your vehicle for prolonged
periods
of time if you sense that ex-
haust fumes are entering the cab. In-
vestigate the cause of the fumes and
correct it as soon as possible. If the
vehicle must be driven under these
conditions, drive only with the windows
open. Failure to repair the source of
the exhaust fumes may result in death,
personal
injury, equipment or property
damage.
CAUTION
Do not stay in the vehicle with the en-
gine
running or idling for more than 10
minutes with the vehicle's Heater and
A/C ventilation system in RECIRC or
at LOW FAN SPEED. Even with the
ventilation system on, running the en-
gine while parked or stopped for pro-
longed periods of time is not recom-
mended.
