3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
Toxicity:
May cause eye and skin irritation. May cause skin sensitization. Exposure to vapors or mist may result in
irritation of the respiratory tract.
Primary Routes of Entry:
Eye and skin contact, ingestion, inhalation
Signs and Symptoms of Exposure:
Eyes: Exposure to liquid or vapor causes moderate eye irritation. Symptoms may include burning, tearing,
redness, stinging, blurred vision and corneal injury. Skin redness. Repeated skin contact may cause
allergic skin reactions. Excessive overexposure may cause giddiness, dizziness, headache, nausea and in
extreme cases, unconsciousness and respiratory depression. Moderately toxic if swallowed. Irritating to
mouth, throat and stomach with nausea.
