High Tack Spray-A-Gasket
Sealant is an
aerosol product formulated as a sealant that dries quickly to a
highly tacky film. The product was specifically designed to
hold the heaviest gaskets in place during assembly.
PRODUCT BENEFITS
• Dries fast to a highly tacky, elastomeric film
• Remains tacky indefinitely - can be applied in advance for
convenience in assembly
• Highly resistant to automotive fuels and oils

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Bond and seal any type of cut gasket including:
• Rubber
• Cork
• Felt
• Paper
• Metal
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1.
Provide adequate ventilation.
2.
Surfaces should be free of oil, dirt and grease.
3.
Mask areas that should not be coated.
4.
Shake can with ball agitator for one minute. For best
results, aerosol can should be at room temperature
before spraying.
5.
Holding can 8 to 10 inches from the surface to be
coated, press the nozzle and spray the product
uniformly. Apply to flange surfaces and both sides of the
gasket and the bolt threads. Avoid overspray. For best
coverage, 2 to 3 light coats are required.

Note: Aerosol product will coat 10 to 12 standard valve
covers, 3 coats per side.

For Cleanup
1.
Turn can upside-down and spray to clear nozzle.
2.
Clean hands with Permatex
brand hand cleaners.

GENERAL INFORMATION
This product is not recommended for use in pure oxygen
and/or oxygen rich systems and should not be selected as
a sealant for chlorine or other strong oxidizing materials.
For safe handling information on this product, consult the
Material Safety Data Sheet, (MSDS).

STORAGE
Products shall be ideally stored in a cool, dry location in
unopened containers at a temperature between 8

the lower half of this temperature range.
