Doing Our Part
At Perlick, we take great pride in the designations and
certications we’ve earned for our green practices. We
believe that environmentally friendly manufacturing is just
as important as the products that we put our name on.
Our commitment to environmental initiatives has earned
us certication by the Wisconsin Green Tier Program.
This designation is given to manufacturers that continually
evolve their eorts to meet high standards set toward
superior environmental performance. We take extra steps
to run our facility in an environmentally conscious manner,
including housing our own water purication system in-
house to ensure the water we send out of the plant is as
clean as the water coming in.
Perlick is proud to oer a wide variety of products that have
earned the Energy Star label. These products are identied
as energy-ecient by the EPA because of their reduced
greenhouse gas emissions and their signicant energy
savings nationwide. When you see the Energy Star label
on one of our many Perlick products, you know that you
are purchasing a product that is energy-ecient without
sacricing features and performance.
Several Perlick products also meet Consortium for Energy
Eciency (CEE) specications for energy performance.
These residential initiatives promote greater availability
of high-eciency appliances, lighting, HVAC systems and
gas heating to consumers. CEE identies energy saving
opportunities in the residential market, as the products and
equipment it covers counts for a sizable portion of a typical
household’s energy bill.
