Calorier and block heater connections
Calorier
Fittings are available to allow a calorier to be
connected to the engine, as shown in gure 1. The
ttings may be ordered as part of the engine assembly,
or as loose parts to be tted later.
The hose connections to the calorier must be of a
radiator or heater hose quality and 1/2” bore, and
must be installed so that chang will not occur.
(1) Supply to calorier.
(2) Return from calorier.
Block heater connection points
A mains powered cylinder block heater may be tted
to keep the engine warm when the boat is stored in
low temperatures. A suitable heater may be ordered
as part of the engine assembly, or may be tted later.
Figure 2 shows the connection point. The core plug
in the position shown on the engine block is removed
and the block heater tted and secured with a bolt.
If the heater is ordered at the same time as the engine,
it can be attached to the engine.
