Polar diagram
This diagram shows the loading capability of the front
of the crankshaft.
The load angle, when viewed from the front of the
engine, is measured clockwise, with 0° aligned to
TDC.
Overhung load (Newtons) is directed radially outwards
from the centre of the diagram.
