Digital control panel overview
The digital control panel shown in gure 3 is used
with the keyswitch panel. The switches are protected
from the entry of water, but if the control panel is in an
exposed location, it should be protected by a cover
when not in use.
Below is a description of the instrument and switches
on the digital panel.
1. Display - this screen shows the following
information.
- Engine speed
- Percent load
- Inlet manifold air temperature
- Engine hours
- Battery voltage
- Fuel rate
- Engine totals - current & trip
- Transmission oil pressure
- Oil pressure
- Boost pressure
- Coolant temperature
- Engine Diagnostic & Events
2. Screen illumination - varying degrees of
brightness.
3. Alarm mute - turns off the siren.
4. Scroll forward button - moves forward through
the screen options.
5. Scroll back button - moves backwards through
the screen options.
Caution: If the audible warning device operates, the
panel will indicate the engine affected. Reduce the
speed of the engine affected to idle and, if necessary,
stop the engine.
