4. Using temporary marks align assembly (1) and
tighten the bolts.
5. If necessary, tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 25 N·m
(221 lb in).
6. If necessary, tighten bolts (8) to a torque of 25 N·m
(221 lb in).
7. Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of 25 N·m (221 lb in).
8. Tighten bolts (7) to a torque of 25 N·m (221 lb in).
9. Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 45 N·m (33 lb ft).
End By:
a. Install the DPF. Refer to Disassembly and
Assembly, “Diesel Particulate Filter - Install
for the correct procedure.

Start By:
a. Remove the DPF. Refer to Disassembly and
Assembly, “Diesel Particulate Filter - Remove
for the correct procedure.

Make temporary marks on all components on both
support assemblies (1) and all bolts, in order to aide
alignment during installation.
1. Remove bolts (3) from bracket (2) and remove
bracket (2) from the engine.
2. Remove bolts (5) from bracket (4) and remove
bracket (4) from the engine.
