Installation Procedure

1. Install new seal (2) (not shown) to the inlet
manifold temperature sensor (3).
2. Install inlet manifold temperature sensor (3) to inlet
manifold (1). Tighten the inlet manifold
temperature sensor to a torque of 25 N·m
(221 lb in).
3. Connect the wiring harness assembly (not shown)
to inlet manifold temperature sensor (3).

- Remove and Install
Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the wiring harness assembly (not
shown) from inlet manifold temperature sensor (1).
2. Remove Allen head bolt (2) from inlet manifold
temperature sensor (1).
3. Remove inlet manifold temperature sensor (1)
from inlet manifold temperature sensor housing
(4).
4. Remove seal (3) (not shown).
5. If necessary, follow Step 5.a through Step 5.f in
order to remove inlet manifold temperature sensor
housing (7) and tube assembly (6).
