Typical example

The DEF pump assembly should be supported by a

support bracket (4).

Tighten the fasteners (3) that secure the bracket (4)

to the following torque.

DEF Tank with separate Pump Electronic Unit

(PEU)

Note: The DEF tank should be mounted to the

application using the installation guidelines described

in “Type 1 DEF Tank” or “Type 2 DEF Tank”.

Note: If the PEU is to be mounted on isolating

mounts, a rigid metal bracket should be used.

Contact the applications engineer for the engine

manufacturer for more information.

M6 fasteners are recommended to secure PEU to the

application.

Tighten the fasteners (1) that secure the PEU (2) to

the following torque. . . . 12 ± 3 N·m ((106 ± 27 lb in))
